That's an "argument from incredulity" which is also a logical fallacy. But yeah I agree that it's stupid.

I try to be good person. If there's a God and he's so petty as to condemn me to eternal suffering for not following one specific religion among many, he wouldn't be worthy of worship in any case. That's my take
