No. But my original statement remains true; no logical rebuttal against it. But to me that doesn't mean much; all of science is based on a logical fallacy; "past observations can predict future occurrences". there is no logical argument in favor of the sun rising tomorrow

Now I do firmly believe that life is not an illusion just as I do firmly believe in God, through a thousand small pieces of evidence which form a pattern visible and tangible to me. But this is an act of faith in both parts. What is the alternative? Bleak meaninglessness.

I actually agree, because if reality is an illusion you are left with two choices: Either you have been placed in an illusion by other beings and therefore are not alone in existence, or you are an insane god who has trapped yourself in a false world.
