Unpopular opinion - Growing up with a weak father is worse than growing with no father at all in terms of mindset and character. Why? Because not only you lack a proper role model, but you also get indoctrinated with the wrong approach towards life.

Interesting. I’ll play along. A weak father gives you a chance to see his mistakes play out in real time and potentially learn the right way anyway. Additionally, there’s always hope you can push him to be better, or that his life will force him to grow. In essence: Hope.
