So... apparently @ApacheOO is giving me grief over my illustrations. I'm not sure if the file sizes are just too big, but it keeps closing my manuscript or not deleting the image files every time I try adding them to document.

ok.. sounds like a memory error in OO.. OO is full of bugs like that. One of the down sides of OSS software.

So if I used something like Microsoft Word, this issue wouldn't crop up? The weird thing is I've never had this problem before. It's just this one document that's giving me grief.

yeah likely MS would't give your the issue. It's worth a try anyway. Else your document might have a corruption, and you'll need to cut / paste into a new one.

I've already tried cutting and pasting. Well, shoot. I guess I will need to buy MS... it's too bad you can only buy them in packages. All I really want is Microsoft Word.

Microsoft Office 365 runs about 60-70 a year and can be paid monthly for like 8-10, if you just need it for right now rent it for one month and make the format changes?
