People have been trashing this result, but you have to admit that Taco Bell does a better job than anybody of getting something vaguely like Mexican food to a lot of people for very little money. In that sense, they are the best. https://t.co/ylajdXT4wY

Mexican restaurants in the upper Midwest compete with Taco Bell & have to change their food to be more similar because that’s what most customers expect. I moved here and asked why the local restaurant serves unseasoned ground beef with mozzarella cheese & lettuce. They told me.

I was shocked at first so I started watching to see if it were true. Customer reviews on yelp and such for Mexican restaurants do compare them to Taco Bell. So up here, Taco Bell sets the standard for all Mexican food.

Chipotle or Qdoba, I could understand, but Taco Bell is barely food, much less Mexican.
