@TheBrometheus I never get used to it. I just submitted the file for Savage and think it’s a pile of crap.
I’m much more excited for Sowing Dragon Teeth.
I’m worried that Savage is too different. If you want a refund once you start reading let me know.

Fierce was also very very different from Brutal. I’m very much looking forward to it!

Heh, I didn’t want to do the exact same thing every time, but then there is that part of me that’s like maybe that’s what people want?

So in Savage has he changed the way he identifies and now spends his time lecturing the resentful nobles about improper use of language while banning all swords in the kingdom?

Kinda hard to screw up “huge guy kills dirtbags with sword” unless you remove the huge guy, remove the sword, or make the dirtbag too lovable.

Nope, maybe understandable dirtbags but still dirtbags, still swords. This will probably be the most Kull-ish of the Sellsword books so far though.

I am curious about the theme of an added layer of usurpation in each book. That will be awkward by book 7.

I’m teasing, the dynamic was actually cool. And I hope he crushes a man with a chair again.
