One of the problems with modern medicine is no one seems to know what anything costs. I recently went in for blood work for an upcoming doctor visit. Got clipped for 50 bucks upfront as co-pay. Now the lab wants $65 more. Insurance company says so. Why don't I know this going in?

Medicare and Advantage plans have their benefits but still... more expensive than my regular insurance from last year. I am also still paying 500 a month for the wife and I for Advantage plus 139 each for Medicare. $778 a month. Bloodwork last year was literally a few bucks.

Well it was cheaper at 50. 115 was a 130% increase form what I was told it was gonna cost me.
