It makes me sad when I’m listening to a person rant against some public figure or personal acquaintance who made some statement they think is sexist, but they lose track of the accusation so they throw random ones in instead like “racist” and don’t even realize they’re doing it.

Just makes me very aware that the person I’m listening to isn’t actually outraged about whatever happened, they’re outraged because the leaders of their cult told them that person is sinful so they must also commit ALL THE OTHER SINS, too. It doesn’t matter what sin is mentioned.

We’ve got a cult of neo-puritans dictating the new language and thought boundaries of our society but they can’t even keep their own accusations straight. Any person who doesn’t conform to their cult’s views is guilty of all sins at once and therefore not a person at all.

This would an annoyance at worst if this stayed within the confines of social cliques or the Internet, but real lives are being ruined by neo-puritans and their shifting goalposts for acceptable behavior. May mercy be upon you if they mark you with the scarlet letter.

All conflicting rights, all dissenting views, all inconvenient non-persons must be swept aside for the glorious fulfillment of the purest social justice. The cult of social justice must triumph over all things at any human cost. “No bad targets,” say the cult members.

A cult with this mentality will never truly care for its adherents or the principles it claims to uphold. Utopia must be established and power is required to make the world conform. Power at any cost is the only guiding virtue of such a belief.
