I was nodding for like 1.5 tweets... A strictly in-church and truly pious inquisition might not even be a bad idea. Iron cages sound a tad bit overkill though.

That’d be a sticking point for many. I encourage it because it creates the stigma of public humiliation while also allowing victims a sense of vindication and justice, and also all others can see the person and mark their name to protect any future victims they may endanger.

Let's hope. But really it is high time for some action. If not active persecution, at least to withdraw protection of insinuated clergy.

Personally I believe in public humiliation, flogging, and death by impalement as punishment for child molestation by clergy, but that wouldn’t fly for most folks.
