Just think how many books I can publish when I’m not paying $870 a month for health insurance and $1,300+ per month in deductibles and out-of-pocket... Just kidding, once that stops the government will just find a new way to get that freed up money.

It wasn’t quite this bad before the affordable care act. That removed a lot of plans with cheaper premiums and lower deductibles. My insurance used to be great. Now employers look for the worst they can provide to lower their costs and if your work offers insurance you’re screwed

The market actually punishes you with higher costs for looking for insurance if your work offers a plan.

I'm impressed by your commitment and hard work. Our model is way different from yours as we have mandatory state insurance, which to you probably sounds like a socialist hell but is a blessing for folks with prexisting conditions.
