If my kids were teens or out of the house, I’d have more time to produce content. I’m in no rush though, I’d rather soak in each moment with them. I do want to make everyone aware, in 13 years TFA will be pumping out content like a factory during WWII.http://TheFamilyAlpha.com

Great call. Take it from a guy that was on deployment 200 days out of the year for the first 10 years of my son's life. No pity, my choice, but still a fact. I missed a lot of things that most people take for granted, besides first steps, birthdays, etc.

That's the reason I left the Navy after an awesome 8 years. I missed my son's first steps, Dr. appointments, birthday, etc. When leaving for my second deployment, as I touched the door, he said his first word, "Da-Da" that was brutal. As with you, no regrets, my choice.

In all honesty, this is the sort of sacrifice I’m most grateful to veterans for giving. Blood and sweat is real, but missing their kids to safeguard our nation cuts to the soul.
