Thanks for the pep talk. Too many writers have had their confidence destroyed by bad critiques and rejections that many of them believe that they can't write good stories. Most writers just need to stand by their work.

It also matters with whom you surround yourself. Find colleagues with irrational confidence who market well and push you to do better without trampling your vision.
