What does this mean exactly? on pushing the life issue in a bi-partisan congress: "It's a divisive issue. I think I have that solution and nobody else does." Huh? Memo to self: follow up.

The mainstream media should be ashamed of themselves. Certain liberal reporters became totally unhinged today. Jim Acosta wouldn't give up the mic, April Ryan standing up without a mic and so many more examples. No wonder the media is disliked in this country. Entitled?

STAT OF THE NIGHT: White Evangelical Christians made up 26% of the national electorate. That’s the average in midterms BUT in states where the GOP flipped senate seats (IN, MO, ND), the evangelical electorate in those states far surpassed the 26% national average.

Dems should be very scared tonight. campaigned all across the country & because of that, the GOP increased their senate majority. And here’s the kicker: he wasn’t even on the ballot! What happens when he is? Dems may need Tums for indigestion.

Now that Democrats have taken the house, they will make President Trump’s life miserable with subpoena request after subpoena request. But Dems have decision to make: if they become too obstructionist, they could alienate the independent voters and moderate Dems they need back.

So if you’re keeping score at home, here’s how the look: Trump gets two victories and one defeat. He loses the house but gets a senate majority increase and he gets to use the Democrats and Nancy Pelosi as a foil in 2020. Not a bad night at all.

It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure out that will claim victory tonight and let’s be real: if he didn’t re-create the 2016 enthusiasm with non-stop campaigning, there’s no way R’s would have done this well in the senate.

In a divided nation, should we expect anything less than a divided Midterm Election result? The democrats got their blue house but not their blue wave. That wave washed ashore on a sandy red beach called the senate.

What will I be looking for tonight? Typically, evangelicals make up 26% of the electorate in . They’ll probably need to be north of that number tonight for the GOP to keep the house.

My wife and I got back from voting and found our 5yo in tears that she didn't get to come. So I took her to the polling place and gave her a little patriotic talk about America and democracy. On the way back she told me she thought mom had said we went "boating."
