Keith Haring embodied NYC’s energy. After Haring contracted AIDS in 1988, he focused his outpouring of activism on the AIDS crisis. Less than 2 years after contracting AIDS, Haring died of an AIDS-related illness #OTD in 1990. Pic: Timothy Greenfield-Sanders
