Thanks for the links. I guess what I was really trying to ask is whether these systems behave in a deterministic way that we don’t have good models for or are they non-deterministic in some fundamental way.

"Classical chaos" means that a small change in initial conditions can amplify exponentially, so to predict its behavior for 1 more day one needs to measure its initial conditions 10 times more accurately (for example - the exact numbers aren't the point here). (1/2)
