As a gen x’er who has always loved Keanu, going to have to summarily dismiss this premise.

Well, this Gen-Xer saw River's Edge in the theater when it came out in, what, '87 & was hooked. Note: I have never Bill and Ted's Excellent anything, so maybe that's why I never fell out of like with

Bill and Ted would make you love Keanu (and Alex Winter) even more. Definitely worth a trip to the couch for this.

I didn't really see much love for him from the masses until John Wick. I think it was the puppy. The puppy for the chicks ~ and the car and sleek violence for the men. I don't really place much faith in most people, no matter what generation they happen to be in

Did I dream Bill & Ted ($40 million), Point Break ($133 million), Speed ($350 million) and The Matrix?

I’ve watched what younger viewers consider “acting”. It’s wooden and one-note. And as a Gen Xer, we were on to Keanu all along. You’re thinking about Boomers. But again, in the modern media landscape, nothing was cool until Millennials and Gen Z “discovered” it.

Oh, and get off my lawn.
