Spoiler alert, it's because horses will try to be horses but a centaur can be convinced to sit in a wheelie-sling for a few months.

I love this!! in our Saltmarsh game the guard captain was a centaur with two peg legs in place of his front legs after they were slashed off in battle. he would benefit from these!
Oh heck yea! Peg legs and beefy braces would definitely be the next best things I think they would use if a wheelchair wasn't accessible, like say they have to run around a big marsh! haha Goodness!
