I remember when I first tried frontend engineering in college and was quickly like "NOPE. DO NOT WANT". When I look at code from people who do it professionally. I'm still like "NOPE. DO NOT WANT"
I was trying to use either bootstrap or foundation and couldn't figure it out.

This is one of the nicest things I have ever heard. So much in my career I’ve been told front end dev was junior work or considered lesser than other programming stuff, so

Frontend is definitely harder at this point, at least in terms of builtin challenges: offline mode, caching strategy, responsive design, flaky networks, slow networks, many clients to support, error reporting / monitoring/debugging is tougher, CPU resources are scarce...
