Losing your quarters in the arcade was extremely personal.
Too bad most of you were not in the arcade era to see how hyper competitive it was. The games were harder & the information was self made. You have the info now, games have shortcuts for execution, & mechanics help disadvantaged players. Wonder why we had more killers then...

When I stared CvS2 I asked someone a pretty simple question, I was just starting. They told me to look at the command list. I took it personally but man if I didn't go back and learn everything I could about the game watching everything I could. Still not done w/ that chip.

it was the jungle. not only just being good then you had to deal with F#$%s trying to kick your ass on the corner because they were pist off you took their money. i was never good but a friend alway got his ass beaten when he destroyed everyone in KOF 98 in Mexico.
