    55 years ago today (April 4, 1963) Billy Chumbler, an All-Stater at Lowes (Graves County), signed with Mississippi State. He later transferred to Murray State. As high school coach in KY and Illinois he won almost 800 games & guided Paducah Tilghman to Sweet 16 runner-up in 2002.
