I hope this new anti-jade card sets the jade counter back to 1/1. That would give slower decks a fair chance at winning.

I hope too, I like to play with priest and some slow decks (not so slow), but druids can armor up before the fatal blow!

True that. If the counter is just a minion with battlecry: destroy a jade, it's not going to improve the bad matchups against slow decks.
