It's hard to be informed and remain sane at the same time. My mental health hasn't benefited from a lot of political feeds, but I also need to stay informed because our mainstream media will not do their jobs right. They're allowed to lie to us for massive profits.
Understand that even with good research, there is more going on beneath the surface than can be believably reported. There are more influences at play in our daily lives in this day and age than we truly realize.
