In THEORY, it’s the same as any other sport—you watch the people who are best at something doing that something which you could do, only they do it better. However, I’m FROM that part of Texas and I’d wager this is an attempt to concentrate entertainment venues into the area.

Arlington ain’t that big. And the city’s only taken off since the Cowboys Stadium was completed. So why invest in mass transit when you can just plonk another stadium down and get the GOOD folks out that way with cars and disposable incomes anyway?

My dad was involved in city government around the time I was born, and my own misadventures have given me a lot of perspective on what it means to rely on mass transit. I am BEYOND surly at the cities of Arlington, Grand Prairie and beyond for choosing to never invest in it.
