it's always so strange seeing people get really aggressive with each other over fandom ships. in my earliest fandom days we'd have baby fights over which ship was THE BEST but we didn't try to destroy each other's lives over it. we didn't threaten the VAs or creators either

I’d love to know the tricks these folks use to shut out the rest of reality and focus on this sort of thing with a fury and intensity that regularly tapdances into the extreme. Their methods for shutting out current events are clearly superior to mine.
