Soooo, it’s got more to do with being NB, “passing” and transitioning for you? Okay. I think I get that. My question is, is it all personal journey stuff? Or do you feel LGBT folks have certain expectations placed upon them by others? Certain roles that have to fit into?

Well, by the very fact of your inclusion into a group, the group changes. And yeah, there are pressures within the group to adhere to roles. But I think you’re enough however you want to be. And so’s my lesbian friend who’s trying to decide how butch she wants to be.
