Soooo, it’s got more to do with being NB, “passing” and transitioning for you? Okay. I think I get that. My question is, is it all personal journey stuff? Or do you feel LGBT folks have certain expectations placed upon them by others? Certain roles that have to fit into?

If I’m reading your posts right, by nature of your own feelings about yourself and heteronormativity, you’re not checking off all the “usual” boxes, but that’s just your-personal-journey and getting-where-you-need-to-be stuff? I hope I’m not being an ass about saying that.
What I wonder about is if unfair expectations are being placed on LGBT folks on the whole, forcing them to fit into nice, neat little boxes or roles or stereotypes when love and genders and personal tastes and styles are messy, messy things. And where do those roles come from?
