It’s well-established that Bannon has a grudge against Kushner. He, after all, bounced him from power and has “hijacked” Dollhands’s presidency. This is a ham-handed attempt to saddle them entirely with the Russian conspiracy and save the cause...the ‘cause’ being himself.
Another instance of Bannon thinking he’s Littlefinger, pitting two foes against each other (Mueller and Kushner) and convincing himself he gets to skate away. Like I said last year: There are no Littlefingers here, only Janos Slynts. He fries. Kushner fries. Everybody fries.
