I don't see how such a story would matter to players. What, are Winston players gonna pull punches on Mercy players because "OMG NOT CANON!"

I think a story mode would matter to players. I know a lot of people who play this game regularly would agree with me.

Okay--I mostly think of OW as a great rumble game. Lore doesn't seem to have the same weight as POTG's or commendations.
