The gods are merciful. This will be the first Thanksgiving in six years where I will not be beholden to my job's whims.
It's not everything I WANT to be doing, but it's one of the few jobs I've had that hasn't made me hate everything, including myself.

So, I'm thankful for that, this year. I'm thankful I finally got a slightly better job that lets me start reaching for what I want.
