Anyone know about compressed-air tools? I’m curious if the shell of this could be emptied, or if it’s not a shell at all and instead is very thick/solid metal. Yeah! Since it wasn't mine and also very expensive I didn't want mess with it too much. But I liked the general design for a lightsaber profile. Fits in the palm very nicely for me. Very heavy. Made me wonder just how much steel is in this damn thing. Don't want heavy machining.
If I had to guess, it’s going to mostly be cast steel sheathing around the moving parts, actually. Part of the trick with air tools is they cast the insides to house the mechanisms pretty tightly, in order to prevent air leaks.
