I’m starting to wonder if I have somehow gotten sucked up in someone’s attempt at harassing another Twitter user by trying to be supportive of them.

Huh. Another account on Twitter has pretty much pulled a wholesale crib on my Warcraft Muppetsona’s entire schtick—just painting it a different color. I should be frosted about this, but I don’t think I’m gonna care. I worked hard to get him where he is without being a hack.

Turns out I did. Person that was harassing had multiple accounts I was following, and decided to start crossing boundaries—not just with the person they were trying to get at, but those trying to support them. The person agreed to stop when called out and deleted the accounts.

Didn’t even last a day. I feel slightly vindicated by all this. I mean, I really didn’t want to accuse this person of being a joke thief, especially when I don’t own the schtick he was stealing, but I put a lot of work, feeling and character into that account, dammit.
