Trying out The Dragon Prince on Netflix. The sheer volume of Avatar alumni has me convinced it’s worth a watch. Loving the character design, could get used to the cel shading, wish it was just straight 2D animation, but this frame rate is like nails on a chalkboard.

In the meantime, this feels like a great concept slowed down by poor execution. And it wants so very very badly to be Studio Mir, you can see it in how they deliver.
