Trying out The Dragon Prince on Netflix. The sheer volume of Avatar alumni has me convinced it’s worth a watch. Loving the character design, could get used to the cel shading, wish it was just straight 2D animation, but this frame rate is like nails on a chalkboard.
It looks great when you pause it, but the movement is putting me up a wall. Why does Canada regularly seem to win points for style and imagination, and then just as regularly lose points on execution?
