Hellscream started off honorable. Then he lost his path never to return (It was that lost path that made him susceptible to the Sha of Anger) Sylvanas has started that same path but will it be ruin or redemption?

There's no possibility for redemption for her now.

Tell that to Illidan Stormrage.

Illidan wasn't redeemed in my eyes. He's selfish and blind to the fact that he KILLED his own people so that HE could become more powerful. He lost faith in his people and his actions in Legion don't redeem him for that. Ever IMHO.

But you choose to fight by his side? Was it just for the prizes at the end of the show? If Illidan was evil still, then what do his followers become? If Sylvanas is evil, then what about the followers of her? Leaders cannot be leaders if no one follows them.

I didn't have a choice. I couldn't have played Legion then? Illidan is a selfish, arrogant, honorless prick. There's little redeemable about him.

There's a lot redeemable about him - but only for those of us who read the novel. It's much less clear if you're just going off the game, because Blizzard used to be crap at in-game storytelling, before Christie Golden came along. So, I can understand the confusion.
