I follow a very eclectic bunch—voice actors (both anime and pre-lay), animation folks, stand-up comics, the occasional comics writer or artist, streamers, gamers...but mostly who I like to follow are creative folks. Never have I told these people to “stick to” anything.

And it has nothing to do with how much I agree or disagree with them. Why? Because this is a free site. I pay nothing for the entertainment it brings me. That entertainment is derived from the tweets of the people I follow, for which they too are not compensated.

So because these folks are not compensated by me or Twitter or anybody for the content they provide, THEY ARE UNDER NO COMPUNCTION TO ENTERTAIN ME. OR YOU. They’re posting on this site for free, on their time, so they get to post whatever they damn well please.

We’re all people living in the 21st Century, and a creative is entitled to just as much of a political opinion as you are. There is no set of terms and conditions that comes with a verified checkmark mandating that the person with it must now only tweet to entertain you. /end
