#Actors out there, what's your preferred approach?
#MethodActing or #CharacterActing?
As I understand-
method: 'becoming' the character and using their emotions/life experiences to drive performance
character: using one's own emotions/life experiences to drive performance

I am absolutely a method actor, at least by my estimations. I live and breathe that character while on-set and in-outfit. (Will do the same as a
#cosplayer tbh) That being said, I (Greg) am still 100% in control. Being a villain doesn't mean I'm gonna kill folks. Still 'ACTING.'1 odpowiedź 0 podanych dalej 6 polubionychPokaż ten wątek -
I think edgelord rapists like L*to like to say they're method so they can get away with doing sick shit to people. YOU CAN PLAY A VILLAIN WITHOUT BEING A VILLAIN, EVEN WITH METHOD ACTING. IF YOU CAN'T, YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND CONSENT OR ACTING.

Voice acting conveys its own set of problems. You don’t get the costume, you don’t get the blocking, most of the time you’re lucky to even get a partner. You basically have to place yourself in the moment and give it as much truth as you can. For most, that means Stanislavski.

Has anyone ever told you that you bear a slight resemblance to Brian Blessed?pic.twitter.com/PLMeyJqZ7Y
