@YouTube something is going on when I choose a video the lock screen controls appear in the notification bar and when I change videos the original one is still there. Is there a way to have in lock screen only? And yes I updated already.

I'm on android and I just updated the app on my tablet (android) and it did the same thing. I'm guessing it's in the newest update.

Thanks for reaching out. This is not exactly a notification, but it's YouTube Player with controls showing up as it's an ongoing activity. Hope this clarifies.

When I press the x, it's out of the bar. When I put the phone to sleep, the controls aren't there. My question is why is this happening when the phone is awake and is there an actual fix for it? Searching for a fix did nothing.
