I was a hacker before there was even an "internet." We build forms and the smartest of the smartest knew we'd eventually control the world. These new weird subgroups on 4chan and reddit are the opposite and sadly they know in numbers they have much power. So they harass.

4) I think it's time to treat sites like 4chan and others with a similar culture the same way law enforcement treats websites that promote propaganda to recruit terrorists. This is the silent creep that is corrupting the minds of young, vulnerable and impressionable kids. Problem

Like a lot of things on the internet, not everything on these sites are bad. Blanket carpet bombing and targeting the whole community because of some bad actors isn't the answer. It's the same argument with gun ownership. Why punish the many for the actions of the few?
-
Sure some of the things on 4chan are fine but that's not the point. The problem is that there is a culture that feeds people to do bad things such as the Toronto attacks. People actively encourage stuff like that with no consequences or moderation, breaking terrorism laws AFAIK.
