  2. That at least 20,000 people who may have been infected with a virulent strain of entered the country whilst the Prime Minister dithered and delayed about adding India to the red list leaves him with serious questions to answer. Me in 👇

  3. Well said our future economy depends on young people having the opportunity to learn a trade and gain new skills now. Labour's 'Jobs Promise' and apprenticeships wage subsidy would create the opportunities young people need and boost our economy post-pandemic.

Last year 44% of rape victims gave up hope of justice and walked away before reaching court. The only people who benefit from this government’s handling of our justice system are the criminals who increasingly walk free.

I believe the recovery from the pandemic represents a crucial moment for Britain. We must match the scale of this moment with an ambitious, bold plan for good jobs and a green economy.

Angela Eagle says David Cameron's messages were "more like stalking than lobbying" and asks if he is "embarrassed" by his behaviour. The former PM says there are "lessons to learn" and in future a single formal email or letter "would be appropriate."

  11. I was dreading the journey from Paddington to Bristol today because of the train safety checks (the right thing to do of course) but in fact service from been really good. Hourly trains with plenty of carriages and up to date information. Keep checking website for info.

  12. It's great to see the level of Labour support in West of England. Jacob congratulated Dan Norris but he must know he is on notice for his own seat after that result.

  15. Hospitality, entertainment, and the creative industries have suffered so much due to the pandemic. The government should support all viable businesses to reopen and grow. Instead, the Chancellor himself said that he can’t protect every business.

  18. Then, the crisis. Four years on from the Grenfell Tower tragedy, govt is still pushing 1000s of people into debt, for a problem they did not cause .

  20. Up against my opposite number Jacob Rees Mogg, I first asked about the government’s attempts to restrict voting through their proposals. This is a scandalous attack on democracy.
