    The decline in U.S. wheat acres can be attributed to increased exports out of Russia and more profitable crops like corn, cotton and soybeans. Prices are just now starting to rebound from multi-year lows.

    Texas winter acres increased 9% over the 2019 crop year according to the Winter Wheat & Canola Seedings report. Planted acres are estimated at 4.9 million acres, compared to 4.5 million last year.
