New coronavirus infections in Texas are rising again. Experts attribute this latest surge in part to “pandemic fatigue” that’s leading more people to ignore precautions that help slow the spread of the virus. https://bit.ly/3m5GY9O pic.twitter.com/MK75qZnvLH

“We may be tired of this virus, but the virus is not tired of us.” —Dr. Umair Shah, executive director of the Harris County Health Department

I am as vigilant as ever. I do have MAGAfatigue, tho. Wish they'd wise up to the virus. Wear the mask, folks. Keep your distance. Wash your hands. For the folks in the back... THE VIRUS IS REAL.

Maybe they're not ignoring it but deciding to live their lives and not be captive to fear, gov't. over reach and power plays, and the media's (like TT) daily assault on sensibility.

And so, not "captive to fear" like the doctors, nurses, lab techs, physicians assistants and other ninnies of healthcare, they take a stand against cowardly precautions, like wearing masks and working together to control infection spread. How manly. How tough. How brave.

Pandemic fatigue is a funny way to spell stupidity. Or trumpidity.
