At current best estimate of retransmission in Texas those 6,975 confirmed cases likely already infected 8,230 people before showing up as a confirmed case. Those people will infect 9,382. And so on, and so on. It’s going to be a long summer.https://rt.live/

And we STILL can't get tests!

Lack of testing has been the main reason this has spread. The economic shutdown was supposed to give us time to roll out MASSIVE testing and contact tracing to interdict the virus. We never did it, and still haven't, 4 months later. That's how everyone else got it under control.
