When some people witness your blessing and the power of your spirit, it leads them to denounce you. What a shame. But, please never level down to coddle people’s insecurities about things that have nothing to do with you in the first place.
People will conflate stepping into your power with being “arrogant,” and we know those aren’t similar at all. We don’t speak on how some people will try their best to ignore you, position you as being something you are not because they aren’t sitting right with themselves.
And, I hate how capitalism, hyper-masculinity, and competition prevent us all from genuinely seeing how powerful each one of us can be. We all have some work to do in this arena but projecting onto others is not it.
So many of us shrink ourselves and feel a desire to please everyone else because of a fear of not being liked. Since when have we been here to be SMALL? Baby, people will find ANY reason not to like you.
