The 2 top execs at IDEA make almost $1 million per year – paid w/ public dollars - but they pay their teachers $8,772 less than average TX teacher. IDEA uses its funds on big salaries, private jets, private arena boxes, & 1st class travel. Is this really a public school? #txlegepic.twitter.com/LAWCWr6SpB

This does not get near enough media play. Isn’t their a case right now going through the Supreme Court to strip these schools of their non profit status based on a loop hole?

Can you share how IDEA student outcomes also compare to the state?

A parent just testified at a TEA rule hearing about D-rated IDEA Charters, Bluff Springs, which is located within just 1.3 miles, a five-minute drive, of AISD’s A-rated Blazier elementary. #txed #txlege

Name the researcher, the institution, the affiliate organization, and who or which entity funded the research. Until then, your comment and pseudo research reference are conjecture. @TexasAFT @pastors4txkids

I love freedom of speech! Thank you for the article. Now parents have more information to make informed decisions on their child’s schooling. This makes it all the more evident that we should have more choices, not less. To have other options when abuse occurs. Freedom is choice
