The problem with the IQ metric is that it axiomatically assumes a Gaussian probability density function a priori. An IQ point is 1/15 of a standard deviation; meaning one IQ point is not fungible with another. It's not a legitimate unit of measurement based in raw data.https://twitter.com/MimeticValue/status/1032390092957016065 …

Thinking about it, I might be measuring frames, and remembering it as ms. so at 60fps I'm about an order of magnitude off.

In Kirby Superstar they measure "samurai kirby" minigame using frame times. I would regularly score 5~8 less more than a statistical fluke. My favorite game growing up because I'd win other people consistently when I was doing well mentally. So (5 - 50)x 16.67 ms

Ohh that seems more reasonable

Late at night after drinking energy drinks I would fuck with my hardcore gamer friend by getting 3-5. I started writing it down to see if it correlated (and to avoid prediction bias)

Another test varys quite a bit for me is performance on the stroop test. I started doing that with an online version to measure executive function variance https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S088761770300146X … and apparently that is IQ related https://www.newscientist.com/article/mg20827841-300-putting-your-intelligence-to-the-ultimate-test/ … Seems dumb to use if it varies so much.
