So the RT- PCR tests already given EUA by CDC in 2020, would they be effected too?
The CDC is NOT cancelling all PCR tests. A number of people are saying it but that's not what happened with their latest announcement. The are removing EUA for one test only, and plenty of PCR tests, including combo ones, are staying on the market.https://tessa.substack.com/p/cdc-pcr

They one they will not be seeking a renewal of the EUA for (letting it expire at the end of the year) is a specific RT-PCR test owned by the CDC. There are links in the story to what tests are still currently approved, etc.
