'Stole' is bit harsh…
:) I admit to having very strong feelings about it but not scholastically (as in, I would not engage in heated debates). To my senses, the interpretation is very pale comparing to the original, and I long for a world in which the original is respected fully and used to heal.
But there's a value in pale imitations too! They can lead to study of the originals…
Well, true, and there're ways, but here is, in my opinion, a way to elevate the study of the originals: "I had the honor to come in touch with this incredible knowledge. Their knowledge is so rich and so in-depth that anyone who has the honor to learn from them is in great luck."
