Google and other large tech companies were at it from the very start. They destroyed creative industries to the ground in early 2000s so that they could then "sponsor" creative endeavors in a controlled manner. Now they are doing it to the rest of the world.

Why do we have the same Social Media Companies essentially working as monopolies, unlike the 1990s? There used to be a host of options out there. They were quickly bought up and turned off by congressowning Zucks and Dorseys.
