I’d love to see your sources for this. I’ve read that land is given back to indigenous people. The land grab is done by coprs for oil/mineral extraction. Conservation saves land from real estate corps. There is tension between farms and conservationists, true.
It might take some time for me to collect sources but I have been observing this trend for a few years (with a disclaimer that there could be an occasional decent conservationist but the bigger trend is deceptive none the less and designed for purposes not so noble).
