For years I endured incredible abuse & cruelty in gymnastics. When I finally called it what it was - ABUSE - I was called crazy.
Now I’m watching the @CDCDirector continue to issue cruel guidelines stigmatizing & punishing children.
I’m not the crazy one.
Not then, not now.
Similarly, after experiencing abuse earlier in life, I couldn't help the horrifying clarity of the fact that yes, we are all being subjected to massive collective abuse, and this is clear and undeniable, as much as the brain wants to invent excuses.
